Was born in Newfoundland, Canada on July 12, 1967 and passed away March 6, 2009 in Dallas Texas. He graduated from North Mesquite High School and attended UTA. He is preceded in death by his step-father Dan Chalmers, Jr. He is survived by his mother Kathy Chalmers and his brother, Troy Kane both of Dallas and his step-sister Sheri Knight of Austin, as well as his father Joe Kane, Jr. of Chula Vista, CA, his nephew Brice Kane of Lake City, Florida, his grandmothers Annie Walsh of Newfoundland and Juanita Kane of Ohio, and numerous family and friends in Canada and the United States. All will mourn the loss of a life cut much too short for such a wonderful and intelligent young man. This summer his ashes will be returned to Newfoundland where his wish of returning to the place of his birth will be honored. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to your local SPCA or Operation Kindness. He will be greatly missed by his buddies Maverick and Scooter. A memorial service will be held on March 14, at 2pm at the North Dallas Funeral home.
