Obituary of Kathy Marie Ferrell Kathy Marie (Travnicek) Ferrell of Dallas, TX born April 14, 1952, passed away on December 04, 2023, at the age of 71. Kathy passed peacefully at her home after battling pancreatic cancer. Kathy lived in Dallas, TX where she married and had children whom she loved. Kathy enjoyed spending time with the family. They would go to baseball games, Six Flags, and to the lake to go fishing. She also enjoyed the gatherings with the extended family on Thanksgiving and Christmas time. Kathy started out as a housewife but soon started work as the economy started to change. One of her most favorite jobs was at the donut shop. She worked for Royal Optical till they closed the location in Texas. Kathy worked a few more jobs before she retired. Kathy will be cremated and put in the columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery. Kathy was preceded in death by her father Ludie Joseph Travnicek, mother Edna Mae Travnicek, brothers Edwin Ray Travnicek and James Curtis Travnicek. Kathy is survived by her husband James Ferrell, son George Ramsay, daughters April Nicholson and Amanda Ferrell, sisters Linda Lackey and Carolyn (Travnicek) Travis, grandchildren Anthony Handy, Elijah Handy, Amariyah Handy, Timothy Handy, Jade Handy, James Nicholson, John Nicholson, Tyler Hosch, Abbie Hosch, and extended family, and friends.
