Dr. Herbert Kresh, MD, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 on Armed Forces Day at age 91.He was a veteran of WWII, landed in Normandy on D-Day, and received the Purple Heart. He was a true renaissance man, a voracious reader, a student of literature, history, the arts, sciences, medicine, and a world traveler. Herb received his MD from the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine.He was a devoted husband to the late Bettye Kresh, mother of 3 sons, David, Barry, and Norman and families. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Shirley Telisman Kresh and her beloved family.Funeral arrangements are pending.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders or to Congregation Shearith Israel.Please send the family condolences and/or share memories on this website.
