Dorothy Jane McKnight Kueker passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 79 years. She was born January 18, 1932 in Sparta, Illinois to William B. and Mildred Ann Moffat McKnight. She married Oliver A. Kueker on November 18, 1951. She worked for years as a bookkeeper before attending and graduating Magna Cum Laude in accounting from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) at San Marcos in May of 1986 at the age of 54 and passed the CPA exam on her first attempt. She lived in Belleville, Champaign and Franklin in Illinois, and San Marcos and Houston in Texas before moving to Dallas. For the last six years she lived at Treemont Retirement Community in Dallas, TX. She was an avid reader and was almost never seen without a book in her hand.
