Chef Jean E. Lafont passed away inhis Dallas home on January 21,2012. Mr. Lafont was a world renowned Chef who made his homein Dallas. He is recognized forbringing fine cuisine to Dallas for over 35 years. His legacy will forever live on. He is survived by seven childrenSonia, Stephane, Jean-Luc,Mireille, Jean-Pierre, Magali andMarise, four grandchildren, two sisters in France, and two beloved former wives and a community of dearly cherished friends.Services will be held on Tuesday, January 31st, at 10 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Road, Dallas, TX 75220. A reception will follow at Prestonwood Country Club, 15909 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75248.
