Surrounded by loved ones, Angela D. Lalla, 47, went to be with the passed away on July 4, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Angela was born May 15, 1964 in Independence, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Amber Dement. She is survived by her devoted husband of 13 years, Tom Strange of Dallas, her parents Jane and Richard Flemming of Plano, daughter Krystal McGinnis and husband Josh of McKinney, son Justin McGhee of Plano, step-children Chris Strange of Mesquite, Natalie Montoya and husband Anthony of Plano, Amber Alford and husband Brandon of Argyle, Justin Strange and wife Erin of Keller, and Julia Strange with fiancee Eathan Brecheen of Abilene. Angela is survived by two sisters, Toni Bennefeld and husband Scott of Rowlett, and Amy Sullivan and husband Kenny of Dallas. Other survivors include her in-laws, Bill and Lillian Strange of Dallas, brothers-in-law Mike Strange and wife Sherry of Rockwall, Gary Strange and wife Terry of Cedar Hill, Jayson Strange of Dallas, and sister- in-law Nicki Elieff and husband Steve of Frisco. Angela had six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Angela was a youthful and loving person, who enjoyed playing cards with the family, reading her novels for hours on end, and jamming out to Patsy Cline in the car. Our best memories of her all include a smile on her face and a heart full of joy. A memorial service will be held at Springcreek Church, 2660 Beltline Road in Garland, Texas 75044, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2011.
