Hubert Donald Laney (Toodles) born February 28, 1928 in Troup Texas to Oliver David Laney and Virginia Barkley. He and his wife, Betty June Lee were married on November 2, 1957 and just celebrated 64 years of marriage. He was a 60 year resident of Farmers Branch.

Preceded by father, Oliver David Laney, mother Virginia, brothers, Albert Raymon and David Harry Laney, sister Inez Satterwhite, brother in law Milton Satterwhite, and sister in law, Margaret Laney. Also, niece Janet Lynn Laney. Mother and father in law Ruby and Wright Kee, brother in law Sammie and Ronald Kee and niece Shalee Kee Green. Survived by wife, Betty June Kee Laney, daughters, Holli Grier, Lisa Laney (her partner Marlin Brantly) and Tina Cone (husband Robert). Grandchildren, Aaron and Adam Grier, Leslie Edwards, husband Tyler, Melaney Mendez, Robert Nolan Cone,wife Caroline, Laney Brown, husband Andrew, and Carson Cone. Nephew David Laney, wife Cathy Laney, Nieces, Ginny Mullen and Susie Corbin. Hubert attended the University of Texas studying engineering. He was employed by Canterbury Engineering for over 40 Years. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church since 1961 where he served as an elder. He was a devoted husband, loving father and loved his grandchildren with all of his heart.
