Marcia McMurray Lansdown, 70, passed away on Sunday February 7th, 2021. Born April 5th, 1950 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of Phyllis Phero McMurry and James D. McMurray of Tulsa, OK. Marcia graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1970 where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a member of D.A.R., First Presbyterian Church, and Embroiders Guild of Oklahoma. From 1989 to 2006, she was the fifth-grade reading teacher at Carnegie Elementary School.Marcia is survived by her husband David Paul Lansdown of Dallas, TX, her sons Daniel McMurray Webster of Dallas, TX and James McMurray Webster of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by her sister Susan McMurray of St. Augustine, FLFuneral services will be held on Wednesday February 24th, 2021. However, due to Covid-19 the attendance will be limited to a small number of immediate family members.In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the charity of their choice or to the American Cancer Society.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
