Larry Russell
Lalonde
October 14, 1953 – January 19, 2025
Larry Russell LaLonde passed away on 19 January 2025, at 11:15 a.m. CST.
Larry Russell LaLonde was born on 14 October 1953, in Ecorse, Michigan to parents Darlene Jane McGee and Jack Eldon LaLonde.
Larry is survived by his partner and loving friend of 41 years, John H. Scott, III.
He is also survived by a sister, Vickie L. Cipparuolo of Sun City, CA and a brother, Russell J. LaLonde of Lapeer, MI. Also, surviving is a niece, Amanda White of Oak Harbor, WA. Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Larry also left behind his beloved pet Parker who already misses him deeply.
Larry had a wonderful life full of much fun and satisfaction. He was a computer operator at NCH for many years before becoming a self-employed business partner with John.
He loved adventures, the outdoors, reading car magazines, detailing his cars, relaxing at home watching television, and working on his 100-gallon aquarium of Cichlid fish.
One funny thing he always did was tell folks how to pronounce his last name when they were having trouble. He would say, think of the word blonde, remove the "b" and add the "La" and there you have it: LaLonde!
Over the years, Larry returned to the Catholic faith he so loved. He had a great devotion to Mother Mary and St. Joseph. During his lengthy illness, he frequently sought comfort by appealing to Mother Mary for assistance even to the end.
