Ann Hayes Lee passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012. Ann was a loving mother of two and a successful businesswoman with a special sense of style. Born November 20th, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she attended Classen High School and she attended Montecello University in Illinois and The University of Oklahoma at Norman for her college education.Ann was married to Ralph A. Lee shortly after college and they settled in Irving, Texas. Ann and Ralph divorced in 1973 and Ann went on to become a very hard working and successful executive. From her work early on at Hallmark Cards, to being President of an innovative photography studio, and finally through to her creative design work and mail order marketing as Executive Vice President for Calyx & Corolla, a mail order, direct from grower fresh flower company based in San Francisco, California.Ann was a very special person and a kind and loving mother to her two boys. She had a great eye for seeing grace and beauty in its simplest form. And she had a great talent in bringing these elements to her work always with an extra touch of class. Ann also was an excellent cook and loved collecting cookbooks and trying different recipes.Ann was a beautiful soul and an intelligent individual with a "can do" attitude. A woman who carved her own career path and learned how to be a leader as well. She will be sorely missed.Ann is survived by her two sons, Phillip H. Lee of Dallas, Texas and Peter A. Lee of Irving, Texas and sister, Hayes Friedman of Washington D.C., her nephew, Jason Friedman and his wife, Jennifer and their daughter, Stella Friedman of Tulsa, Oklahoma.Please sign the guest book and send family condolences via this website.
