Leslie Ann Stoltz of Richardson, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the age of 68. Leslie peacefully entered the presence of Jesus surrounded by her loving family and friends at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, Texas. Leslie was born on May 12,1957 in Cut Bank, Montana to Eugene and Patricia (Hass) Stoltz.
Raised on a farm in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains near Valier, Montana, Leslie learned to work hard and developed a love for animals of every kind, especially horses and cats. Leslie had a wonderful imagination with a creative ability to make life fun even if it was challenging. Sometime after graduating from the University of Montana, she moved to Richardson, Texas where she worked and retired with the U.S. Postal Service. Leslie married Wylie Erdwurm on March 31, 1997. Sadly, Wylie passed away in 1998. In 2019 Leslie earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree and passed her clinicals becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Leslie loved her nieces and their children dearly. She often traveled to attend many family events and holidays. Her love extended to her friends that were her family of her heart. Leslie's strong faith in her Lord Jesus strengthened and comforted her through the past year's battle with cancer.
Leslie is survived by her sister, Lori (Bill) Powell of Perryton, Texas; her brother, Jon (Lisa) Stoltz of Pendroy, Montana; her nieces, Sarah Tregellas of Perryton, TX; Kimberly Findley of Perryton, TX; Alexandra Stoltz of Dupuyer, MT; her great-niece, Charlotte Tregellas; her great-nephews, George Tregellas, Evan Findley, Conner Findley; her aunts Helen Costello of Great Falls, MT, Ione Hass of Eugene, OR; and many cousins. Those who preceded her in death included her parents; her husband, Wylie; and her great-nephew, Johnathan Findley.
Leslie will be buried in Lakeview Cemetery by Valier, Montana with family attending.
