James "Jimmy" Fred Ligon was born on July 19, 1933 and went to be with the passed away on November 5, 2012.He was a graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas and a member of the First Baptist Church in Carrollton, Texas.Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Eloise 'Foster' Ligon; two sons, James Ligon and his wife, Bobbie, Charles Ligon and his wife Judy; and daughter, Phyllis Greer and husband, John. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, and his five great grandchildren, and two sisters.Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Funeral services will be Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church, 2400 N. Josey Lane, Carrollton, Texas 75006.
