Obituary

Lillian Beth Thompson (Liebenson), aged 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Garland, TX, on January 6, 2025. Born on January 13, 1951, in Dallas, TX, Lillian was the beloved daughter of Morris Herbert Liebenson and Blanche Liebenson (Morchower). She was preceded in death by her brother, David Liebenson.

Lillian shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Howard Thompson. Together, they built a family that includes two sons: Morris Herbert Thompson and his wife, Brittney, along with their three children, Dominic, Mia, and Max; and Michael Joseph Thompson and his wife, Melissa, and their two children, Olivia and Trevor.

Lillian was known for her unwavering loyalty, sharp sense of humor, and love for storytelling. Whether spinning a heartfelt tale or sharing a laugh over a cigarette, she brought joy and warmth to those around her. The heart of her home, Lillian found her greatest happiness sitting at the kitchen table, surrounded by loved ones, where countless memories of laughter and love, and a few High School Senior English papers were created.

Her legacy is one of devotion to her family, an infectious sense of humor, and an appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

A private service to honor Lillian's life will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Shearith of Israel Memorial Park, located at 4634 Dolphin Rd., Dallas, TX 75223.
