Obituary

Lily Ann Lockman, 70, of Richardson, Texas, passed away from pancreatic cancer on December 31, 2011.She is survived by her daughter, Becky Chandler-Berry and son-in-law, Jon Berry; her son, Christopher Clark; her grandchildren, Brooke Clark, Andrew Berry and wife, Lindsey, and Brandon and Ashley Chandler; her great-grandchildren, Danielle Ramirez and Christopher Justice Hernandez.Lily Ann was born to Forrest Myron and Mary Ann Wray on June 26, 1941, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She moved to Fort Worth as a child and graduated as Miss Brewer High School in 1959. She married her high school Sweetheart, Carper Clark, and had her son, Christopher. She later divorced and married Clarence Buckley, Jr., who was enlisted in the USAF. They traveled to various states and moved to San Antonio where they finally settled. Lily Ann held various secretarial jobs with General Dynamics, Bourns Electronics, Bell Grain, Brandt Airflex Corp, and retired after 23 years of service as the Executive Secretary to the Director of Municipal Court in San Antonio, Texas.She devoted her life to the care and support of her family, church and community. She was a faithful Christian volunteering her time and love at both First United Methodist of Richardson and Plano. She was the type of person who didn't know a stranger. She would embrace each and every person with open arms, kindness and love. She enjoyed water aerobics and playing bridge, bingo and Yahtzee with her freinds at the Richardson, Plano and Garland Senior Centers. She was an avid "Outdoor Woman" who loved to hunt, fish and camp. She also had a passion for painting beautiful landscapes.She will be dearly missed by all of the lives she has touched.Lily Ann requested to be cremated and have a "Celebration of Life" service at the First United Methodist Church of Richardson, 503 North Central Expressway, Richardson, Texas 75080, on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2 p.m., with a reception to follow.Memorial donations may be made in Lily Ann's name to Faith Presbyterian Hospice, 550 East Ann Arbor, Dallas, TX 75216, Good Samaritans of Garland, 214 North 12th Street, Garland, TX 75040, or a charity of your choice.Please send family condolences and sign the guest book on this website.
