Lon was born September 30, 1943 to Earl and Pearline Hokett in Caney, Oklahoma.

After he completed high school he entered the United States Navy. Upon discharge from the US Navy, Lon entered trade school and became an auto mechanic. He worked as a mechanic until he retired in 2000.

Lon is survived bi his wife Della, daughter Madelyn, her husband Todd and three much loved grandchildren, Dylan, Kiera and Sarah Grace.

he is also survived by two brothers, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters.
