Myrna Lowenthal died peacefully at home on May 19, 2016 after a long illness.Myrna was born in Utica, New York during the flapper era. She kept both her age and her poker hand close to the vest and she made it to the final table playing by her own rules. Everyone who knew Myrna would say that she was forever young at heart, in mind and spirit. Myrna never, ever met a stranger. She captured the attention of everyone she came in contact with and made everyone feel at home. Myrna was kind, compassionate, patient, a great audience and the most loving wife, mom and grandmother MM.She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life Sidney Lowenthal and is survived by her loving children Lon Lowenthal and wife Jerri Heppel, Lindsay Lowenthal, Lauren Lowenthal Gerard and husband Clay Gerard and grandchildren Ryan and Olivia Gerard.The family would like to thank the many caregivers from Vitas Hospice and the Crystal Creek Rehab.Graveside service will be on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W.
