With deep sorrow, I inform you that my mother, Rose, has passed away.Rose E. Lunkwicz, 84 was a longtime resident of Farmers Branch, and an affectionate mother and doting grandmother. She passed away peacefully on April 27th.Rose was born to parents Rose E. Leland and Francis Oshier in Chesterville Ontario Canada on December 3, 1928. She was preceded in death by devoted husband, John A. Lunkwicz Sr.The primary focus of Rose's life was her family. She made a warm, comfortable and happy home for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Jon A. Lunkwicz, Rose Ann Lunkwicz, and her granddaughters, Julianna Lunkwicz, and Katherine Lunkwicz.Rose was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary since 1967 and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.The family would like to thank their many dear friends and caregivers for the care and compassion they have shown Rose and the family during her time of illness.There will be a private funeral service for family and friends.
