William Nelson Maben, Sr., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, January 7, 2012.He was born Nov. 3, 1916 in Fort Worth and attended WC Stripling high school and TCU. Bill began his long career in the restaurant business in Fort Worth and then moved to California in 1954 where he was general manager of a group of 5 restaurants in the LA and Malibu area and enjoyed great success until his return to Texas in 1984.
