In Loving Memory of Macy Brook Savoy

Some lives are measured by the years they are given. Macy’s life is measured by the countless lives she changed.

There are rare souls who enter this world and leave it forever different because they were here. Macy Brook Savoy was one of those extraordinary souls. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, friend, leader, and a true gift from God.

Born on August 16, 2000, in Mamou, Louisiana, Macy was raised in Texas, where she built a beautiful life surrounded by the love of her mother, Haley Ahart-Keiffer, her bonus father, Seth Keiffer, her father, Chris Savoy, her bonus mother, Miranda Savoy, and her beloved siblings and extended family.

Macy never allowed the world to define her by her disabilities. Instead, she taught the world to redefine what ability truly means.

Her life was not defined by the challenges she faced, but by the courage, determination, faith, joy, and unconditional love with which she faced them. She transformed obstacles into opportunities, differences into strengths, and ordinary moments into miracles. She showed us that a life does not have to be long to be immeasurably meaningful.

On July 29, 2026, at 1:17 p.m., surrounded by the love of her family, Macy peacefully entered the arms of her Creator at Baylor Scott and White The Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas.

Although our hearts are broken beyond words, we find comfort in knowing that Heaven welcomed home one of its brightest angels. Macy was a true superstar whose light could never be extinguished.

For twenty five beautiful years, Macy lived with extraordinary purpose. She accomplished more in her short time on earth than many could accomplish in several lifetimes. Yet her greatest accomplishments were never an award, recognition, or title.

Her greatest accomplishment was the love she gave.

Macy had the rare and beautiful gift of making every person feel seen, valued, welcomed, and loved. She never met a stranger. She believed every person deserved to be celebrated and reminded the world that everyone has a purpose and every life has immeasurable worth.

In 2015, Macy was inducted into the Night of Superstars Alumni, an honor recognizing the impact she was already making. The Night of Superstars became one of her greatest joys. She loved walking the red carpet, dressing up, celebrating others, and making everyone around her feel like the superstar they truly were.

In 2017, Macy founded Macy’s Miracles, a nonprofit born from her heart and her passionate desire to bring hope, inclusion, opportunity, and joy to individuals with disabilities and their families.

What began as one young woman’s dream became a global movement.

Macy partnered with the NFL and Microsoft to bring the first ever STEAM Awards to the NFL, recognizing 26 young people for their accomplishments. Through her partnership with We See Possibilities, she traveled to California with a delegation to meet with the Mayor of Anaheim and Disney leadership, advocating for inclusion and opportunity.

In 2018, Macy’s Miracles was selected as the official nonprofit hosted at Miss USA. Macy proudly walked the red carpet alongside FOX News, Miss Universe, and CHI Haircare founder Farouk Shami.

Macy’s Miracles was honored as Houston’s Nonprofit of the Year by WorkLodge. In 2021, Macy was recognized as Houston’s Humanitarian of the Year by Random Acts of Kindness.

Through Macy’s Miracles and her partnership with the Night of Superstars, Macy helped raise more than a quarter of a million dollars to support individuals with disabilities and their families. Her work directly and indirectly touched more than 30,000 lives, and her message of love, acceptance, inclusion, and possibility reached people across 23 countries.

Yet the greatest miracle of Macy’s Miracles was never the organization.

The greatest miracle was Macy herself.

She taught us that kindness is powerful.

She taught us that joy is a choice.

She taught us that everyone deserves to belong.

She taught us that love has no limits.

She taught us that one person living with purpose can change the world.

Macy’s favorite place to be was walking the red carpet at the Night of Superstars Gala. She loved celebrating people, making memories, and bringing joy wherever she went. Although the spotlight often found Macy, she always used it to shine that light on others.

Macy was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Steven Richard Ahart and Rex Keiffer; her uncle, Michael Savoy; and her great grandparents, Georgiana Manuel Reed, Harold Manuel, J. Roy Reed, Jean Cross, Richard Ahart, and Lawrence Cross. She was also preceded in death by her great aunt, Pamela Manuel.

Though they are no longer with us on earth, the love they shared and the memories they created remain a cherished part of Macy’s story and of the family who loved her so deeply.

Macy is survived by her loving mother, Haley Ahart-Keiffer, and bonus father, Seth Keiffer, of Texas; her father, Chris Savoy, and bonus mother, Miranda Savoy, of Mamou, Louisiana; and her siblings, Wesley Savoy and his fiancé, Asia, of Texas; Gracie Pray Keiffer of Texas; Presley Keiffer of Texas; and Annalise Savoy of Mamou, Louisiana.

She is also survived by her grandparents, Cynthia Manuel Ahart of Opelousas, Louisiana; Renee Keiffer of Richmond, Mississippi; Dr. Gregory Savoy of Mamou, Louisiana; and Shirley Savoy of Oakdale, Louisiana. She leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends around the world whose lives were forever changed simply because they knew Macy.

At 1:17 p.m. on July 29, 2026, Heaven welcomed home a true superstar.

The world lost a beautiful light, but eternity gained an extraordinary angel.

Macy’s story does not end here. Her love continues through every person she inspired, every life she touched, every dream she made possible, and every act of kindness that happens because Macy showed us the way.

To honor Macy is to live like Macy.

Love deeply.

Include everyone.

Celebrate often.

Find joy in the little moments.

Believe in miracles.

One life, lived with purpose and love, can truly change the world.

Macy Brook Savoy came into this world as a miracle.

She leaves this world as a legend.

Forever loved.

Forever celebrated.
