Myrtle Mallett was born on February 16, 1919 in Mamau, Louisiana to Jessie Edmonds and Bathilda Daigle Edmonds. She attended school in Bell City, Louisiana. Myrtle married Millard Mallett on November 6, 1935. They were married 63 years. After his death in 2001 she moved into The Bentley where she lived 8 years. She was living at Aunt Maude
