It is with profound sadness that the family of Maria Esther Reyna Parra announces her peaceful passing on June 25th, 2026, in Crandall, TX.

Born in Torreón, Mexico, on July 1st, 1939, she was a woman of remarkable hands and a deeply compassionate heart. Her life's work was dedicated to caring for and comforting others. In her earlier years, she served as a midwife and nurse, bringing new life into the world and providing steadfast comfort to her community. Later, she channeled her innate grace and meticulous eye for detail into a fulfilling career as a talented seamstress. She was celebrated for crafting beautiful fixings for furniture upholstery, turning everyday pieces into lasting works of art.

Above all, she was the anchor of a massive, loving family. Her legacy of strength, resilience, and unconditional love lives on through her seven surviving children, as well as her 26 beautiful grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one of her children, Hector A. Reyna.
