Marjorie McEntire Crow passed away on June 9, 2025, in Carrollton, Texas. She was born in Cairo, OK, on August 26, 1929, in a rock house to parents William Thomas and Esther Hope (Whitwell) McEntire. They had three sons, Robert, Kenneth, Rupert, and a daughter, Marjorie.
Marjorie has lived in the Farmers Branch-Carrollton area since 1955. She has served as president of the Farmers Branch Elementary School PTA and later as a period-costumed docent at the Historical Park. Being very social, she was a lifetime member of Tri Sigma Sorority, Business and Professional Women, and UMW at Christ United Methodist Church at Valwood Parkway, where she was a founding member.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Crow, and their son, Bryan Crow.
Her current family includes her children, Sherolyn Gregory and Douglas Canfield Ann, her grandchildren, Michelle, Eric (Julie) and Sharon, Morrigan (Adrian) and Rhiannon (Robert), and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Brody—also, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Marjorie loved and was loved by many. If there was a party or a trip, she always wanted to be a part of it!
