Obituary of Marjorie Beth Cannedy Tyson Marjorie Beth Cannedy Tyson of Dallas, died Friday April 14 at the age of 94. She was born August 1, 1928 in Hollis, OK to parents George and Maurine Cannedy. The oldest of five children, Margie is survived by siblings Kenneth Cannedy of Antioch CA, Mary Huff of Mineola TX, Phil Cannedy of Tyler TX, and Greta Gustafson of Pt Aransas TX. Margie began a career working in doctor offices in the 1960s at Launey Clinic. When Dr Thomas Nelson opened his private practice, she became office manager until her retirement in the mid 1990s. Margie also was an avid flower gardener who loved growing a variety of flowers. It was obvious she possessed a green thumb. Margie was married to Kenneth Tyson in 1950 until his death in 2014. She is survived by son Ronnie Tyson (Shirley) and daughter Mary Beth Moore (Jim). Her five grandchildren are Chris Moore, Nathan Tyson, Jeremy Moore, Chelsey Tyson (fiance Drew Warner) and Matt Moore (Lesley). Margie was also blessed with nine great grandchildren: Cash, Lydia, Brody, Drew, Carson, Madeline, Isaac, Meyer, and Gus. She looked forward to the Moore Tribe visits to see their Meemaw. The family thanks her niece, Nancy Tyson, and friends Sara Cox and Marsha Weaver, for their companionship and caregiving. Graveside services to be held at DFW Memorial Cemetery April 27 at 2:30PM.
