Martha Rada passed away on January 11, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on October 25, 1949, in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Cortland, New York.

Martha built a career in banking before retiring and embracing a second calling as a teacher. Her resilience and work ethic were hallmarks of her life, and she poured her energy into everything she did.

Though never one for small talk or bubbly displays, Martha fiercely loved her three sons, Robert Young, Eric Schambari, and Matthew Schambari, and her six grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Rosemary Cummings, and her brother Wayne Cummings. She is survived by her sons and grandchildren, as well as two brothers, Blaise Cummings and Glen Cummings.

Martha will be laid to rest near her parents in Huntington Beach, California. Her strength, loyalty, and love for family will be remembered always.
