Virginia Mavis (Wainwright) Martin of Plano, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born on August 1, 1928 in White Plains, New York to parents, Roy Helliwell and Lillian (Burch) Wainwright.She was a homemaker taking care of her home and family. Virginia was a jokester and loved to entertain. She loved to cook and family gatherings. She loved the beach, to swim and travel. She always wanted to go to Italy! Virginia was a cheerleader, a ice skater, a tap dancer, and tapped danced her way in to heart surgery.Virginia is survived by her son, Brandon Conover and wife, Amalia; daughters, Shannon McClain and husband, Tracy, Kathy Brockles and Kristin Hafer; 5 grandchildren, Emilie, Scott, Sarah, Jessica, Allyson; and 3 great grandchildren, Julie, Olivia and Randy.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234 with Chaplain Mike Weaver officiating.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
