Nancye Knight was born in Plano, Texas. She graduated from Tyler High School, and attended the University of North Texas, marrying Deloach Martin in 1950. From 1949 until her death, Nancye lived in Dallas and in University Park. She loved dancing and music, and was consistently a person who was upbeat and entertaining.
