James "Jim" Tate Martin, 70, died September 8, 2012. A 41 year resident of Farmers Branch, heis survived by his two daughters, Pamela Martin and Kris Wells; twograndchildren, Madison Clark &Tanner Wells; two siblings, RobertF. Martin and Gwendolyn MartinLucion; and many loving in-laws,cousins, nieces & nephews.In addition to his parents, Robert Sutton & Bonnie Castle Martin, he was preceded in death by his precious wife of 40 years, Della Jackson Martin.Jim was born on a family farmin Lebanon, Virginia & moved toRoderfield, West Virginia when hewas very young. He graduated fromWelch High School in 1960, andattended West Virginia UniversityInstitute of Technology. He married the love of his life in 1963, moved to south Texas and took a job as a "doodlebugger" to begin a proud 30-year career with Mobil Oil.He gave tirelessly to his familyas a loving husband, father, Papaw, brother, uncle & son. Jim was a friendly, outgoing man who had a sincere, hearty greeting and a joke for everyone he met. He was the coach of his girls
