Richard Alan Martinson of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away July 17, 2012. He was 61 years old.Richard was born May 12, 1951, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Medvin A. and Viola Pearl Lovejoy Martinson. He worked in the funeral industry as a preneed funeral counselor.Richard is survived by his wife, Denise Simms Martinson, and extended family and friends.Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2012, in the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home.Funeral Service: 1 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie, 122 N.E. 2nd Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, with burial to follow in Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.Please send family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
