Funeral services for Mary Constance Small Nichols,94, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 11th, at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmer's Branch.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 10th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, and Rosary at 7:15 PM, at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas.

Mrs. Nichols passed from this life on Friday March 28th, 2025. She was born December 24th, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, to James and Constance Small. She was raised in Elmendorf, Texas, and graduated from Incarnate Word High School in 1948. She graduated from Incarnate Word College in 1952. She married the love of her life, Don Nichols, on June 1st, 1952.

Mary was a devoted wife to her husband, Don Nichols, and a loving mother to her 5 children. She was also blessed with 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Mary was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years.

She was a lifelong learner and a voracious reader. She loved to travel and was a long-time member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents James and Constance Small, brothers John, Paul, and James Small, son-in-law Jeff Zemler, grandson Nathaniel Zemler, great-granddaughter Lucy Ray Nichols, and other great grandchildren lost through miscarriage.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Don Nichols, and children Connie Ray and husband Reynaldo, Cathy Zemler, Cindy McKeehan and husband Stewart, Tom Nichols and wife Natalie, Jimmy Nichols and wife Cheri. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
