Mary Sue Schuenemann passed away December 7, 2021

Mary Sue was born April 17, 1939 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Harry and Jean Bumgarner where she lived until she was four years old. She moved with her parents to Jacinto City (Houston Suburb) so her father could work for companies supporting the World War II effort. She graduated from Galena Park High School in 1957 and attended Sam Houston State University for two years. Her first job was with Combustion Engineering as a secretary in Houston until she married John Schuenemann on March 10, 1962 immediately moving to The New Orleans area. In 1965 Mary Sue moved with her family to the Dallas area living in Farmers Branch for eight years and Carrollton for 44 years. She loved playing Bridge, playing the piano, and baking. She spent her younger years caring for her husband, John, sons Eric Alan, and Alex Edward. Mary Sue participated and assisted in school functions, PTA meetings, Vacation Bible Schools, Cub Scouts, and sporting events. Mary Sue was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease in February 2007. She leaves behind her husband, John Schuenemann of Frisco, TX sons, Eric Schuenemann and Roberto Almeyda of Miami, FL and Alex and Tina Schuenemann and family of Carrollton, TX. She also leaves behind two brothers and their families, James T. and Sandra Bumgarner of Anahuac, TX and Joseph A. and Nancy Bumgarner of Dayton, TX.
