Donna Carolyn (Ball) Masano, 79, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016after a short battle with cancer.She was born on May 4, 1937 in Spaulding Heights, Maryland. Donna married her high school sweetheart in 1956. Donna and John Thomas Masano remained married until his death in December of 2014. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her three children and grandmother to her four grandchildren.Donna enjoyed sewing, crocheting, golfing and playing bingo with her friends.Shewas preceded in death by her parents, John Issac Ball and Lucille Sembower Ball; sister, Barbara Galinsky and brother, George Ball.Donnais survived by two sisters, Elaine Shepard of Chesapeake City, Maryland and Beverly Taylor of Bland, Virginia; a brother, John Franklin Ball; two daughters, Judith Masano Ryskamp of Coppell, Texas and Nancy Angelina Halle of Davidsonville, Maryland; a son, Thomas Robert Masano of Brunswick, Georgia; two grandsons, John Christian Ryskamp, Marco Edwin Halle; and two granddaughters, Angelina Luciann Halle and Sophia Anne Masano.A private family service and burial will take place at Morning Star Cemetery in Bland, Virginia.Memorial donations may be made to Bland United Methodist Church, Christmas Fund for Kids, 75 Church Hill Lane, Bland, VA 24315.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
