Pedro Broniman Matamoros, 85, quietly passed away on February 1, 2016 at 7:50 a.m. surrounded by the family that he loved and cherished including; his wife Emma, daughters Sylvia, Dora, Blanca and Brenda.Pedro was married to his beloved Emma for over 55 years and worked diligently his whole life to make sure his daughters were successful as well as his grandchildren. Pedro leaves a legacy of a great, noble, honest, caring, hardworking man and is/was the epitome of a father and husband. Pete was subtlety and unintentionally hilarious and the antics he pulled over the years are legendary. He was fond of foods that were bad for him and repeatedly snuck them up his jacket to enjoy when no one was around. Pete left this world on his own terms after stopping his dialysis treatment and entering home hospice. For the entire week before he passed, Pedro was surrounded by family that came to see him from near and far and had barbeques all week and ate anything and everything he wanted. His decline was only about 4-5 hours and then he went peacefully to see his mom in heaven. He was surrounded by his loving daughters and beautiful wife, his grandchildren and son-in-laws.
