Charles Charlie Thomas McDaniels, 74, of Dallas, Texas passed away from congestive heart failure on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Charlie was born on November 24, 1941 in Lincoln, Arkansas to his parents, Lloyd and Alma Madge (Roy) McDaniels.He attended the University of Arkansas where he received a Bachelor of Science in Education. He was a teacher and served in the Army National Guard. Charlie enjoyed travel, watching football and his grandchildren, family and friends. He married Olga McDaniels on September 19, 2009.He is survived by his wife, Olga McDaniels; step-sons, Ronny Perez and Raul Perez; grandchildren, Esteban Perez, Jacob Perez and Jason Perez (nicknamed Rocky by Charlie because he loves to look for rocks); brothers, L.B. McDaniels and Roger McDaniels; nieces and nephews, Larry Pharr, Ron Pharr, Karen Pharr Perkins, Rick Pharr, Allison White, Randall McDaniels, Chris McDaniels and Bryan McDaniels; 7 great nieces and nephews; and 11 great great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his sister, Clovita King.Charlie can be describe as loving, kind and gentle person.
