Larry Dale McFadden was born to Marion andKathrine (McConnell) McFadden on January 30, 1941 in Williamstown, Missouri.Larry was resting peacefully at his home in Dallas, Texaswhen hewas called to our passed away on May 28, 2016.Larry is survived by hiswife, Donna McFadden,son Larry McFadden Jr.,daughters Misty Mitchell and KeeleyMcFadden, step-son David Summers, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.Larry owned Apollo 21 Designs in Hair, a salon in the Uptown area of Dallas. He devoted his life tobeing the best hair stylist he could be, and pursued training and competitions to hone his skills. Larry was the embodiment of the adagethat he loved what he did so completely that he trulynever worked a day in his life, and prided himself on being the best at what he did.Outside of work, he was an avid car enthusiast and loved Corvairs.He loved the martial arts and earned belts in various disciplines. He enjoyed billiards and pool, and was on multiple leagues. He was a seeker of knowledge, an avid gun enthusiast and proud NRA member, loved soccer, movies, music of all kinds, helping others, and wasan amazing story-teller.Larry's larger than life persona was what he showed the world;the lucky ones were invited beneaththe crust and found a deeply spiritualman who never let a friend be in need. Larry - you are loved and missed by all those you've touched.
