Faye Katherine West McKinney, age 73 of Garland passed away at home on Tuesday March 29, 2011, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born January 23, 1938 in Henryetta, Oklahoma the daughter of Vera Nadine West and the late Hershal Benjamin West. She was the oldest of 8 children and was a descendent of the Creek Nation Indian Tribe. On February 27, 1959 she married Gary Landon McKinney of Dustin, Oklahoma. They moved to the Garland, Texas area to raise their family. Faye and Gary owned their own grocery store
