Robert Clayton McSorley of The Colony, Texas passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the age of 75.He was born in Chula Vista, California on September 12, 1942 to parents Robert McSorley and Doris Smith McSorley.RoHe was a commercial illustrator by trade.Robert served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an artist and enjoyed sculpting, and painting. He was a big Green Bay Packers fan. Enjoyed all kinds of music, loved family gatherings, and loved to talk and never met a stranger.Robert is survived by his wife, Nancy Ann (Buennagel) McSorley of The Colony, Texas; sons, John McSorley of Oak Point, Texas and Chris McSorley of The Colony, Texas; daughter, Cheryl McSorley of Portland, Oregon; and granddaughter, Joanna McSorley.Visitation and viewing will be on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Following the visitation will be the funeral service beginning at 11:30 am at the funeral home.Graveside services, with military honors, will be on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 9:15 am at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
