Jose Luis Medina, of Monterrey, Mexico, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather died February 27, 2012. He was 73 years old. Jose Luis was born February 06, 1939, in Mexico City, Mexico, to the late Luis Medina, and Consuelo Reyes. He was a United States Army veteran serving from 1960 to 1964 and was stationed in Germany for several years. Jose was a kind and always giving man who would help anyone without asking anything in return, who loved sports and in the later years loved to run. He loved his family very much and he will be missed so much.Jose Luis is survived by his wife, Ana Laura Medina Ortega; three sons, Jose Luis Medina, Eduardo Medina, Jorge Medina; four daughters, Laura Medina, Alejandra Medina, Gabriela Medina, Tannia Medina; fifteen grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; his mother Consuelo Reyes de Medina; three brothers; four sisters and a host of extended family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.He will receive military honors at the service by a United States Army Honor Guard for his service to our country.Please send the family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
