Eddie D. Miles was born on January 19, 1947 in Gilmer, Texas to his parents, John D. Miles and Eura D. (Johnson) Miles. On Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in passed away at his home in Dallas, Texas. He was 65 years old.Eddie was a big family man and a gentle giant. He loved his family and friends always putting those he loved first, his wife and children and grandchildren. Eddie loved all sports, bowling, fishing, motorcycles and blues music.He is survived by his wife, Gloria of Dallas; sons, Jon Miles of McKinney, Edmond Miles of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Ramona King of Webster, Texas; sister, Maxine Darden of Dallas and nephew, Kendrick Darden also of Dallas. Eddie had 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 am with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am at Walnut Hill United Methodist Church, 10066 Marsh Lane, Dallas, Texas 75230.
