Lois Dazey Miller, age 89, was called home to the passed away and passed peacefully in her Dallas, TX home on Monday, April 15, 2019.She was born on March 3, 1930 in Newcastle, Indiana to Robert and Ida Dazey. Their family moved from Indiana to Texas in her junior year of school and she graduated from Corpus Christi High School, in Corpus Christi, TX, class of 1949. Lois was passionate about serving others and teaching them to become leaders. She committed 40 years of her life to volunteering as a Girls Scout Leader to 4 different troops; helping to mentor and teach countless girls to become resilient, passionate women and leaders. She was an avid seamstress producing amazing costumes for plays, dances, and pageants. She had a heart for giving and supported charities like the Wildlife Foundation, Lakota Indiana Tribe, Newborns in Need and Buckner Childrens Home to name a few. She was a sister, a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and confidant. She challenged her family to always reach to be better, and her laugh and warm hugs will be missed.She is preceded in death by her little brother Robert William Dazey, her father Robert Stanley Dazey, and her mother Ida Helene Dazey. Lois final resting place will be next to her family at Sea Side Memorial Park in Corpus Christi.She is survived by her son Kyle Rhese Miller, daughter Kim Warren Royalty, her grandchildren Amanda Warren Houston, Lauren Miller Gobert, Andrew Royalty, Kyle Travis Miller, and Grace Miller and her great-grandchildren Hannah Houston, Lily Houston, and Harper Houston.Lois memorial and life remembrance service will be held at her home church, Marsh Lane Baptist Church, 10716 Marsh Ln, in Dallas, TX. on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 12:00pm (noon).Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
