Richard Paul Miller, age 69 of Fox Meadows Lane, Mansfield, Texas entered into rest, Sunday morning, December 1, 2013 at James L. West (Dementia Center) Fort Worth, Texas.Born January 19, 1944 in Lancaster, Texas he was the son of the late Edgar Miller and Ethel (Foster) Miller. He was the loving husband of Gloria J. Spain. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his step-son, Ron Spain; brother, Glen Miller, Arkansas; sister, Carol Jean Short, Joshua, Texas; two sons, Dr. Steven Austin Stovall, Wellington, Ohio and Richard Doss Miller, Midlothian, Texas and grandson, Andrew Cash Miller and daughter-in-law, Karen Miller; two stepdaughters, Jeri Lynn McCulley, Texarkana, Texas, Linda Sue Ploep, Carsonville, Michigan; stepsons, Jerry Musselman, Ft. Worth, Texas, Mark Musselman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jack Lee Musselman, North Carolina; sisters-in-law, Donna Miller, Arkansas, Mary June Shinn, Port Huron, Michigan, Judy Ann Tyre, Kissimmie, Florida, Bonnie Snowden, Port Huron, Michigan; brothers-in-law, Don Short, Joshua, Texas, Larry Snowden. Port Huron, Michigan, Len Tyre, Kissimmie, Florida, Ed Gallagher, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; 13 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Richard was a United States Army Veteran, Vietnam War, a lieutenant detective, Lancaster, Texas, Richard was also one of the top 5 out of 100 with the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia and the Abilene Christian Academy. He owned a stain glass shop in Lancaster, Texas. He was very artistic in Indian Artwork and he loved to hunt.He is loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
