James Howard (Jim) Milliman age 69 of Mansfield TX, former Vietnam veteran and father of James Joseph Milliman, CW3 David Jeremy Milliman, and Jordan (Milliman) Nova passed from this life on February 26, 2016. Jim will be buried at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX .He is survived by his three adult children, grandsons Joshua Lane Milliman, and Corbin Bailey Milliman, and brother Steve Davis.Jim graduated from Mansfield High School and obtained his B.A. degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington upon his return from military service in Vietnam.Dad had a passion for learning, a deep love of Gods Word, and a compassionate heart for ministry. He traveled on mission work to India where he witnessed several miraculous events. His interests included photography, cabinet making, real estate, playing his beloved Gibson 12 string guitar and later in his life, writing. He was a great conversationalist and an equally good listener. He loved giving meaningful and very thoughtful gifts to those he loved. He loved taking us to the park as children and on two amazing trips across the country from Dallas to Disneyland, stopping at every memorable attraction along the way.
