Patricia Ann Motter (dAugereau) of Irving, Texas passed away peacefully on February 9. 2018 at the age of 77. She was born in Abbeville, Louisiana on August 21, 1940. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling throughout the world with her husband. Pat loved young children and spent many years as a teacher and in religious education sharing her love of Jesus with preschoolers. Her hobbies were gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and creative projects. Grandma came to the rescue for many last-minute projects with her supplies and imaginative solutions.She is survived by husband of 54 years, Norman Keith Motter; son, Carl Motter and his wife, Theresa and their two sons, Alex and Nick Motter; also her Louisiana siblings, Walter dAugereau, Jr., Wanda Brossard, Juanita Meaux, Malcom dAugereau, Yvonne dAugereau and Sheila Mayeaux. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Alta dAugereau.A memorial rosary will be held on February 13, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Church of the Incarnation in Irving, Texas. A funeral mass to celebrate Pats life will be celebrated on February 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm also at Church of the Incarnation. Later this spring, she will be laid to her final resting place near the family farm in Kirksville, Missouri.In lieu of flowers the Motter Family will be accepting donations for a memorial plaque in honor of Patricia Motter.
