Alan Vance Moulton passed away on August 20th 2012 after a battle with cancer. In spite of his weakened condition he continued to work and provide for his family.Alan was born to Maurice and Carole Moulton on March 15th 1957 in American Falls Idaho. He was a beautiful little baby with curly hair. He was quiet and easy to get along with. He was a very humble and meek soul and was patient with his brother and sisters. One of his great joys was to play with his family. His family moved to Trinity California, Fontanelle Wyoming, and then settled in Othello Washington about the time he was six years old. He attended Othello High School in Washington and participated in band, wrestling, cross country, and track. He graduated from Othello High School in 1975 and attended Ricks college in Rexburg Idaho. Where he excelled in intramural weight lifting. After his first year of college he served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints in the Baton Rouge Louisiana mission. Here he gained a great love for the passed away Jesus Christ and for his gospel. He also gained a great love for southern people and southern hospitality.After finishing his mission he transferred to Brigham Young University in Provo Utah. He worked summers for Pearson Construction and then on the Gilbert family farm. While attending school he worked as a custodian on the BYU campus. He graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance in 1983. After college he worked in the banking industry in Salt Lake City. He later relocated to Dallas Texas and continued working in the banking industry. In 1997 he met the sweet woman that would become his wife and the light of his life; Maria Eugenia Gutierrez. His sweet
