God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes the best.John Bradley Murphy, loving father and friend, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011.Brad was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick on October 17, 1949 to the late Hank and Phyllis Murphy. Brad attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated from the University of North Texas where he received a Degree in Education, specializing in Guidance Counseling and Science.He went on to become a science teacher and small business owner, along with several other occupations, where he eventually settled back in Arlington, Texas.He was an avid Texas Longhorns fan and very committed to his team. He was passionate about his two dogs, Max and Charlie, and his TV would almost always be tuned to the Food Network. Brad was loved by many and whatever life threw his way, you could always count on him to have a smile on his face and an upbeat spirit. He will be remembered as a loving father that promoted curiosity, encouraged creativity, and wanted nothing but the best for his family.Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Hank and Phyllis Murphy.
