Patria Trail Murphy, was born on March 22, 1925 in Kaufman County, Texas and passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 in Dallas, Texas.She was a 1945 graduate of Texas State College for Women (TWU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Patria authored the book "TRAILS", a geneology of her ancestors who arrived in Texas in 1883. Patria is survived by her children; Carol Murphy Moses, Elizabeth Murphy and Robert Joseph Murphy, Jr.; grandchildren, Kelsey ElizabethMoses, Alysia Murphy Bell,Samantha Jo Murphy and numerousnieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Joseph Murphy; parents, Tom and Dollie Trail; sister, Mary Elizabeth Trail Barnett; brother, J T (Jack) Trail.A visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home at 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234 with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm.
