Lucille Marie Naylor, 85, of Farmers Branch, died peacefully Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Medical City Dallas Hospital.Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Dr. Bennie Lee Naylor (2014); and is survived by many close friends and relatives.Born in Fort Scott, Kansas, she is also preceded in death by her parents, Stacy Earl Martin and Sarah Ann (Clemensen) Martin.Lucy considered Nevada, Missouri her home, attending Nevada High School and graduating with the class of 1947. Following graduation from high school, she went to work for Southwestern Bell in April of 1948 in Missouri. She worked for about 4 years in Nevada before transferring to Southwestern Bell in Dallas, where she worked in operations on Bryan Street for another 30 years before retiring in 1981. Lucy was always cheerful and had a way of making everyone around her feel special.Lucy Naylor is survived by her late husbands first cousin Shirley Spivey Kellar, and her husband, Marshal Kellar, of Abilene, Texas; Shirley's daughter's, Kim Kickliter Seavey, of Tampa, Florida, and Karen Kickliter Witt, of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and their families; and the children of her late husbands first cousin, the late Lindsey Garland Spivey II, Catherine Spivey Sentell, of Dallas, and Craig Garland Spivey, of Dallas, and their families.In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions to your local animal shelter, or a charity of your choice.Visitation will be on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Graveside Service will be on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 S. 12th Street,Waco,Texas 76706.Please send the family condolences and share memories on this website.
