Myra Nichols, 83, passed peacefully surrounded by family and her devoted husband of 64 years on July 19, 2012. Myra was born Christmas day 1928 in Vashti, TX, to Byron and Corintha Reeves. She graduated from Jacksboro High School as the Salutatorian then attended Mary Hardin-Baylor College. She was a faithful member and devoted employee of Park Cities Baptist Church for more than 45 years. Preceded in death by her mother Corintha Reeves Mowery and nephew Collin Daily, Myra is survived by her husband Fred and her children: Doug and wife Gerry Nichols, Alan Nichols, Philip and wife Barbara Nichols, Melanie and husband Daniel Enderle, Kimberly and husband Michael Chapman and Jennifer Tweed; three cherished grandchildren, Rebecca Nichols, Bryce and Myles Chapman; her sister LaVerl and husband Louis Daily and nephew Evan Daily. Services will be held Tuesday, July 24 at 10:00am in the Ellis Chapel at Park Cities Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, July 23 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at North Dallas Funeral Home.
