Kathleen (Kathy) ODonnell Lord, 86 passed away on May 17th, 2021. She was born in West Hempstead, NY on June 3rd, 1934, daughter of the late William and Mary ODonnell of West Hempstead, NY. Kathy was predeceased by her loving husband of 24 years, John B. Lord; her four siblings; Margaret Smith, Grace Frasco, William ODonnell, and Mary Burke and her grandson, Henry Hays.She was an active member of several Catholic churches throughout her lifetime from New York, New Mexico, and Texas. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Dallas, TX for the last 15 years. She actively volunteered her time with the churches participating in choir to Eucharistic Minister to those who were home bound.She also volunteered at Del Sol Hospital in El Paso, TX for 19 years and Methodist Hospital in Richardson, TX for 10 years. She was an active member of Richardson Senior Center making great friends along the way.She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer passed away Hays and her husband, Jeff Hays, of Dallas, TX and Kelly passed away Edwards and her husband, Robbie Edwards of Raleigh, NC, her grandchildren John Hays, Kael and Kora Edwards; Sister in laws, Gloria passed away and Patricia ODonnell; as well as many loved nieces and nephews.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church 720 S. Floyd Rd. Richardson, TX 75080 on Friday June 25, 2021, 2:00pm Funeral Mass and a Rosary prior at 1:30pmIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Society or Alzheimers Association.
