Roger Keith ONealdiedat the age of 80 on October 17, 2021.Services will be held at North Dallas Funeral Home on November 3rd, at 11:30am, with burial to follow at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:30pm.Roger was born February 7, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother Violet ONeal, his father Jesse Clarence, and his daughter Michelle Weeks.Roger will be best rememberedforserving hiscountryin the United StatesArmyfor almost 40 years as a drill sergeant. He was also a published author of the book titled The Life and Times of Jace Tanner.Everyone who knew Roger will remember him for the stories of his life while in the military, playing pranks, and telling jokes. It brought him great joy to spend time with his grandchildren and he loved theLordwith all his heart.Roger is survived by his wife, Frances ONeal; Children, Lisa Vargas,Bobby and Deanna Price, Joe and Lisa Fleischer, David and KarenEckols, Kristi Gray, Phillip Foreman, and KimberlyForeman.
