Jose Enrique Rivera Ortiz ofCarrollton, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the age of 70.He is born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on August 16, 1946 to his parents Flor Rivera Vega and Eugenia Ortiz Zayas.Jose was a cabinet maker. He loved going to church, listening to Christian Music, baseball, playing dominoes, and family gatherings.Jose is survived by his wife, Miriam Sosa; sons, Abimael Rivera of Irving, Texas, Enrique Rivera of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Mairim Perez of Carrollton, Texas;2 grandchildren; and his sister, Carmen Rivera of Puerto Rico.His family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 5:00 to 6:30 in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
